Belleville, IL. (1/8/26) - Entering its fifth season of competition, the POWRi Midwest Mod Division continues to establish itself as one of the Midwest’s fastest-growing and most cost-effective divisions, delivering competitive racing and strong weekly participation. The 2026 campaign will feature a season-long championship chase spanning April 1 through September 30, culminating in the crowning of the POWRi Midwest Mod Divisional Champion.
Weekly competition at POWRi-sanctioned facilities across the region will form the backbone of the schedule. Confirmed tracks for the upcoming season currently include Central Missouri Speedway, Electric City Speedway, and Lake Ozark Speedway, with additional facilities in discussion as schedules continue to be finalized.
Championship points will be awarded using the POWRi sliding-scale format, with ten entries constituting a full field and awarding maximum points. A competitor’s best fifteen performances will count toward the final championship standings, with the highest point total earning divisional championship honors. Member registration will be available online in the coming weeks.
