POWRi StockMod 2026 Rule Updates, Clarifications, and Championship Structures

Belleville, IL. (12/15/25) - The POWRi StockMod Series has officially released its annual rules updates and program outline for the 2026 racing season, including finalized technical clarifications, point fund structures, and division-sanctioning decisions. While only minimal adjustments were made for the upcoming year, each refinement continues POWRi’s emphasis on consistency, cost control, and multi-track alignment across the Midwest.

Rule Books Posted - Minimal Adjustments for 2026
The full 2026 StockMod rule books and technical clarifications are now available at https://www.powristockmod.com/rules/. This year’s updates focus on refinement rather than overhaul, with the most notable changes occurring within the Super Stock division.

Super Stock Division - Unified Rules & New Engine Option
As part of POWRi’s ongoing push for a true regional rules standard, the Super Stock division will now operate under a combined rules package with Lucas Oil Speedway, creating full uniformity at both venues. Additionally, a new approved engine option has been added for 2026, offering teams an alternative, cost-effective path to competition.

A-Mod, Pure Stock, & Hornet
Beginning in 2026, the A-Mod and Hornet divisions will follow USRA rules, simplifying tech procedures and improving crossover participation for drivers already competing under the USRA platform. Important Note: POWRi will no longer sanction A-Mod, Pure Stock, or Hornet points, memberships, or point fund payouts. However, POWRi will continue to support and provide the rules package for these divisions.

POWRi Late Models Transition to Universal Late Model Rules
POWRi Late Models will continue their move to the Universal Late Model Rules platform, aligning the division with other major Late Model sanctioning bodies to ensure consistency and competitive compatibility across regional events.
Sanctioned Divisions for 2026

For the 2026 season, POWRi will sanction three StockMod divisions:
