Derek Brown Banks 2025 POWRi Superior Steering Super Stock Championship
Belleville, IL. (10/1/25) Domination, speed, consistency, and clutch seasonal performances defined the year as Derek Brown, of Stoutland, Missouri, claimed the 2025 POWRi Superior Steering Wheels Super Stock National Championship following a breakout campaign in the StockMod staple division.
Conquering a division-best ten feature wins with eighteen top-five finishes, Brown would showcase his ability to compete across his grueling twenty-two seasonal starts. Hitting a yearly stride in performances of speed, smart racing, and equipment management, the division would come down to the wire, with the title claimed by only a ten-point margin of victory in the final night of the year.
Defining the season at the StockMod Nationals at Lake Ozark Speedway (September 26-27), Derek Brown turned in back-to-back feature wins to end the year, keeping fellow competitors behind and locking in the Super Stock crown over Dave Meyer, Ted Welschmeyer, Blaine Ewing, Michael Muskrat, James Nighswonger, Dale Berry, Aaron Poe, Darin Porter, and Bobby Ruff II, who rounded out the tough season’s top ten.
Claiming the 2025 POWRi Super Stock Championship, Derek Brown joins the impressive list of POWRi National Champions, cementing his residence in the history of the division and setting the standard for competitors in the years to come.
