Darin Porter Drives to Hitachi Energy POWRi Pure Stock Divisional Title
Belleville, IL. (10/10/23) Establishing a dream run of end of season successes in a National Championship, the Hitachi Energy POWRi Pure Stock Division would find the awe-inspiring run of Darin Porter notch the yearly title during the mounting divisional races.
Gaining the second season title of the POWRi Pure Stocks through a stretch of divisional leading seventeen feature wins while also sweeping the weekend at the Andy Zeller Memorial POWRi StockMod Nationals, Darin Porter of California Missouri would confiscate the championship title by placing inside the top five in all but five of his thirty-five yearly starts.
Fashioning a controlling season ahead of a top-notch list of entrants, Porter would catapult over the yearly standings by sixty-points ahead of Fulton Missouri’s ten-time feature winner Trevor Wilson as twelve-time winning talent from Tuscumbia Missouri Payton McDowell completes the podium placements.
Ongoing within the championship standings throughout the divisional campaign would find five-time victor Michael McKnight of Springfield Missouri and four-time winner of Springfield Missouri completed the top five Justin McDowell, Tyrel Jones, Trenton Houston, Allen Thompson, and Dustin Isaacs finalized the top ten in the 2023 POWRi Pure Stock Division National Standings.
