Mitch Coulter Masters Championship Run in Stuff Haven Storage POWRi Midwest Mods
Belleville, IL. (10/13/23) Perpetuating a masterful season of front-running performances in the chase of a National Championship, the Stuff Haven Storage Midwest Mod Division would witness the determined drive of Mitch Coulter categorically claim the yearly title within the intensifying divisional competition.
Winning the second season title of the POWRi Midwest Mods through a competitional route of thirty-four top-five starts of consistency and a divisional leading twelve feature wins on the year, Mitch Coulter, of Fort Scott Kansas, would grasp the championship title by placing inside the top ten in thirty-seven of his forty-one seasonal showings.
Building a solid season ahead of an impressive field of drivers, Coulter would capture acclaim in a very tight yearly standings by forty points ahead of Stoutland Missouri’s eleven-time winner Ben Newell as the up-and-coming ten-time winning talent of Dayton Newell from Stoutland Missouri completing the podium placements.
Enduring competitiveness within the championship chase throughout the second season divisional campaign would find eight-time victor Dustin Dennison of Independence Missouri and Sundance Keepper of Billings Missouri complete the top five with rookie-of-the-year and winner of six events Logan Roark placing sixth as four-time winner Steve Muilenburg of Sparta Missouri finished seventh.
Defending champion and winner of a pair of features Pete Richardson of Springfield Missouri would end the second season in eighth with Republic Missouri wheelman Anthony Ferrara winning a trio of races in ninth as nine-time victor Tanner Kade of Hermitage Missouri finalizing the top ten in the 2023 POWRi Midwest Mod Division National Standings.
