Payton McDowell Maneuvers to 2025 POWRi Pure Stock Championship
Belleville, IL. (9/29/25) Showcasing talent, consistency, and the ability to perform under pressure, Tuscumbia, Missouri wheelman Payton McDowell has claimed the 2025 POWRi Pure Stock Championship after a thrilling season of on-track battles.
Marked by a series-leading ten victories, McDowell’s championship run was an impressive series of eighteen top-five finishes and placing inside the top ten in all twenty-two seasonal starts.
McDowell’s victory is a testament to his hard work and dedication to the sport in the Pure Stock division, as former champion James Redus would finish runner-up, with Rhonda Lamke, Alvin Cooney, and Trevor Ellingson residing inside the season’s top five.
