POWRi StockMod Nationals Relocates to Lake Ozark Speedway Following Midway Water Shortage
Belleville, IL (8/25/25) The Third Annual Luebbering Oil POWRi StockMod Nationals presented by Speedy B’s will now take place at Lake Ozark Speedway on September 25–27, as the marquee event shifts venues due to unforeseen circumstances at Midway Speedway.
Originally scheduled for Midway Speedway, the change comes after the facility’s primary water sources were depleted, leaving officials unable to adequately prepare the racing surface. With three cattle ponds fully drained, Midway Speedway ownership and POWRi officials mutually agreed that relocating the event was the best solution to ensure premier racing conditions for both teams and fans.
“We’re just as disappointed as anyone about having to move the POWRi StockMod Nationals from Midway,” said Clint Gann of Midway Speedway. “Unfortunately, all of our water resources have been exhausted, and we are already working toward a better long-term solution.”
Fans and competitors can expect the same schedule, times, format, divisions, and purse as originally announced. The StockMod Nationals will continue to feature POWRi-sanctioned A-Mod, B-Mod, Super Stock, Midwest Mod, Pure Stock, and Hornet divisions, alongside the added bonus of the POWRi Nutrien Ag Revival Super Dirt Series fueled by Sunoco.
“Midway Speedway has worked tirelessly to host this event, but the lack of water made it an impossible situation,” said Jeff Albright, POWRi StockMod Director. “We’re grateful to Lake Ozark Speedway for stepping up quickly to provide a high-quality track for competitors, and we’re excited to keep this event on the calendar without interruption.”
POWRi and Midway Speedway extend their appreciation to fans and competitors for their understanding and continued support. Both parties look forward to returning to Midway in the future under improved conditions.

Registration is FREE for all POWRi StockMod-sanctioned divisions. Each competitor will be required to pay a $50 pill-draw fee for the StockMod Nationals competition. The first 100 registrants will also receive a free pit pass to Friday night’s portion of the event.

National points will be awarded to all classes competing on both nights of the StockMod Nationals. Saturday’s features will start with twenty-four cars, with no provisionals available. No other national points will be awarded at any track during the weekend of September 25–27.
