Ted Welschmeyer Triumphant in POWRi Super Stock National Championship
Belleville, IL. (9/30/24) Conquering a seasonal rush of success combined with the achievements of a perseverance story in the National championship chase, the Superior Steering Wheels POWRi Super Stock Division would not disappoint as Ted Welschmeyer would claim the divisional title in dominating year-long fashion.
Obtaining the fourth yearly title within the POWRi Super Stocks through a stretch of thirty-five top-notch feature starts with twenty-six top-five finishes with nine feature wins on the year, Ted Welschmeyer, of Tebbetts Missouri, would seize the championship title by mere one-hundred-sixty points ahead of nine-time feature winner Blaine Ewing, of Green Ridge Missouri, as James Nighswonger, of Osawatomie Kansas, would win seven events completing the seasonal podium placements.
Lasting persistent within the championship standings throughout the extremely highly competitive divisional campaign would find five-time victor Dave Meyer, of Concordia Missouri, and three-time reigning champion Aaron Poe, of Knob Noster Missouri, completing the top five as Michael Muskrat, Devin Irvin, Gary Clark, Dale Berry, and Jeff Douty concluded the top ten in the 2024 POWRi Super Stock Division National Standings.
